On July 25, a Miller County Deputy was involved in a motor vehicle collision, the report states. The Missouri State Highway Patrol was contacted to investigate the crash.

According to a press release from the Miller County Sheriff’s Office, one of their deputies and patrol cars was involved in an accident while on patrol in Brumley Tuesday.

Subsequent to the investigation, the driver of the vehicle that struck the deputy was issued a summons for failing to maintain right half of the roadway, according to information provided by the sheriff's office. The deputy was treated at Lake Regional Hospital and released.
