A 15-year-old Iowa boy was transported by EMS to Lake Regional Hospital after striking his head on a water ski late Thursday morning on the Osage Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks.

A 15-year-old Iowa boy was transported by EMS to Lake Regional Hospital after striking his head on a water ski late Thursday morning on the Osage Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks in Camden County. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol Marine Division boating incident report, 43-year-old Sonny E. Hall, of Dallas Center, Iowa, was piloting a 2004 Lowe Pontoon northbound at the 39.5 mile marker of the Osage Arm at approximately 11:32 a.m. on July 27, 2016 when Cody J. Hall, also of Dallas Center, Iowa, was moderately injured.

"Occurred as skier being pulled by vessel fell striking his head on the ski," according to the report. 

Cody Hall was listed with a safety device, while Sonny Hall was not.
