At approximately 6:30 a.m. the Dallas County Sheriff's office advised they had received a report of a gas drive off from a business in their county that had occurred around 5:30. The vehicle in question was identified as the vehicle related to Rohr. Dallas County officials further stated that the runaway female and vehicle were verified by surveillance cameras at that location.
A teen reported missing from northwest Morgan County early Wednesday morning has been located safe in Hardy, Ark.
According to a press release from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to a residence around 2 a.m. July 19 after a report that a 14-year-old female had run away from her grandparent’s residence. A vehicle was also missing.
Deputies were able to establish the juvenile had been in contact with a 28-year-old male from Sedalia. It was reported that this male subject was a sex offender from the state of New York. This turned out to be untrue and the subject was not a sex offender, the press release stated.
An initial endangered person advisory was issued by the Missouri State Highway Patrol for Mersadiez Shiann Rohr around 4:30 a.m.
With the assistance of the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office and the Sedalia Police Department, the male subject was located, which an updated Endangered Person Advisory sent around 8 a.m. confirmed. This male did admit to having contact with the 14-year-old runaway at a truck stop in or near Sedalia after she ran away from the grandparent’s house. He told police that she told him she was en route to the Kansas City area.

At approximately 12:15 p.m., Rohr and the vehicle were located safe in Hardy, Ark. Hardy is located approximately 20 miles south of the Missouri state line on US Hwy 63.
Editor's Note: The initial report has been edited to remove the name of the male subject who was at one time a suspect. According to the later press release from Morgan County Sheriff's Office after Rohr was located, the Endangered Person Advisory issued Monday morning incorrectly identified the man as a registered sex offender from the state of New York.
The Morgan County Sheriff's Department issued an Endangered Person Advisory for a missing person incident that occurred at 1355 Highway DD, Smithton, MO at 9:30 PM on July 18, 2017.
Mersadiez Shiann Rohr, a white, female, age 14, is missing. She stands 5’1”, weighs about 138 pounds and has sandy hair, blue eyes, fair complexion. Clothing is unknown.
It is believed she may be in a tan or beige 2004 GMC Yukon bearing Missouri, MH2P0D, unknown direction of travel.
Rohr and the family vehicle were discovered missing at approximately 9:30 PM on July 18, 2017. Further investigation revealed that she might have been in the company of a male subject from the State of New York. The Missouri State Highway Patrol has confirmed that he has been taken into custody by the Pettis County Sheriff's Department. Mersadiez Rohr is still missing and the tan or beige 2004 GMC Yukon has not been located.
