Carl D. Bone, age 70, of Camdenton passed away peacefully in his sleep, Monday, July 17.
Carl was born May 20, 1947 in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the son of Leroy and Josephine (Suiter) Bone. He graduated from Oskaloosa High School. He served in the United States Army from 1966-1968. He married Karen Duermeyer in 1969 and attended Indian Hills Community College. He worked several jobs in Oskaloosa and in 1982 moved the family to Houston, Texas, where he was the manager of North American Warehouse followed by Compaq Computers. In 2002, he and his wife retired to Lake of the Ozarks.
His greatest joys, besides family, were fishing and golf. He was a friend to all, and always quick to help anyone.
Carl is survived by his wife Karen; son Darrin Bone and wife Liza of Houston, Texas; daughter April and husband Oscar Galindo of Cypress, Texas; grandchildren Justin and Jessica Bone; brothers Gary Bone and wife Carol of Lakeland, Florida; and Dean Bone and wife Barbara of Linn Creek.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Josephine Bone.
A brief service for the family will be graveside in Oskaloosa.
