In Loving Memory of  Elaine Barbara Skaletz nee Sonson
God saw Her suffering and she was getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so He put his arms around her and whispered; come to me. You’ve suffered so much and with tearful and saddened hearts, we watched you fade from us.
So many years at times, have blurred our vision, But our Lord would make us see clearly, although we loved, her dearly, we could not make her stay.
God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.  She left to soon and she wanted
do so much,  and yet she could not help others as she always did.
Her smile lit up every room, a friend to many and courageous person to all who knew her, and only our God and the several people will remember this loving and kind person, what she did for humankind.
Yes She was a loving wife, devoted to her husband and her church, serving as a Eucharistic minister and doing charity work I.E.: devoted hundreds of hours by walking “Relay for Life”;  collected thousands of dollars for the American Cancer Society, for which she was awarded with medals.  She touched thousands with her smile and deeds. She loved the outdoors, her passion was gardening, and she was a Master Gardner awarded with prizes. She and her husband enjoyed downhill skiing, and the mountains could not be high enough.
She was always cheerful, giving and loving, wanting to help others and praying the Rosary with her husband. Yes she’ll be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 21 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church  in Lake Ozark.
