A 47-year-old Longwood, Florida man suffered moderate injuries after he was struck while riding a PWC Tuesday afternoon on Lake of the Ozarks.

A 47-year-old Longwood, Florida man suffered moderate injuries after he was struck while riding a PWC and ejected Tuesday afternoon on Lake of the Ozarks.

Kelly B. Greene was piloting a 2014 Seadoo PWC eastbound at approximately 1:32 p.m. July 11, 2017 in Indian Creek Cove at the 1.7-mile marker of the Gravois Arm in Morgan County when the crashed occurred.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Marine Division boating incident report, the crash occurred as a 2014 Seadoo PWC being driven by 8-year-old Colin J. Greene, also of Longwood, FL., was traveling northbound and struck the vessel, ejecting the other operator.

Kelly Green was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital. Colin Greene was not listed with any injuries. Both were listed with safety devices. There was minor damage to the PWC that was struck and extensive damage to the PWC that struck it, according to the report.
