The Versailles Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying a subject caught on surveillance cameras at the Walmart parking lot in Versailles.

UPDATE: Versailles Police recovered the stolen vehicle from Walmart in Versailles Thursday evening, July 6. The vehicle was found on Pamela Drive, and a male and female were taken into custody. Further information will be released once formal charges are filed. The Morgan County Sheriff's Office and Versailles Police would like to thank the citizens for their assistance in locating the vehicle.

The Versailles Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying a subject caught on surveillance cameras at the Walmart parking lot in Versailles.

At 6:30 a.m. July 6, this subject stole a vehicle from the Walmart parking lot, according to a press release issued on the Morgan County Sheriff's Office Facebook page. The stolen vehicle is a 1995 Blue Mustang 2 door coupe with a Missouri license plate of AK7-H4L. It was last seen westbound on Highway 52 towards Stover from Walmart.

The subject pictured was accompanied by a juvenile. The subjects came to Walmart in the black passenger car pictured. Anyone with information please contact Morgan County Dispatch at 573-378-5481 ext. 2.
