According to a press release from the CCSO, Derik A. Coborn was reported missing around 2:20 a.m. Wednesday. He stands 5'11", weighs 185 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.

UPDATE: Subject has been located, according to CCSO. He is safe and at home.

ALERT: The Camden County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a 20-year-old man from Dixon, Mo. reported missing from the Sunrise Beach area in the early morning hours of July 5.

According to a press release from the CCSO, Derik A. Coborn was reported missing around 2:20 a.m. Wednesday. He stands 5'11", weighs 185 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.

Last seen around 12:20 a.m. walking to First National Bank on Highway 5 in Sunrise Beach, he was wearing a dark gray fox t-shirt, light blue jeans and cowboy boots. Coborn was said to be walking to his vehicle parked at the bank after being with friends earlier in the evening at Bear Bottom Resort at the 38 mile marker of the main channel of the Lake of the Ozarks.

If anyone locates or has heard from Coborn, please contact the Camden County Sheriff's Office at 573-346-2243. The missing person entry will not be removed until Coborn is confirmed safe, the press release stated.
