According to the crash report, the southbound 2016 GMC Terrain being driven by Broeker made an improper U-turn into the path of the northbound 2007 Dodge Nitro driven by Smith. The Dodge struck the side of the GMC.

Three women in two vehicles were injured in a collision on North Business 5 near Camdenton late Thursday afternoon.

Ruth E. Smith, 69, of Stover received injuries described as moderate in the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. Janet M. Adkins, 74, of Gravois Mills and Teryl L. Broeker, 60, of Ewing, Mo. both received minor injuries. Adkins and Broeker were sought medical treatment via personal conveyance while Smith was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital.

The accident occurred around 4 p.m. May 11 at Bear Paw Road.

Adkins was a passenger in the Dodge. All three women were wearing seat belts, according to the crash report.

The report also indicated both vehicles had extensive damage.
