According to the report, Neally was driving south on Highway 5 around 6:30 a.m. May 5 when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment about 0.3 mile north of Keepsake Road.

A Gravois Mills man was injured in a one-vehicle accident Friday morning on Highway 5.

Nicholas A. Neally, 24, suffered injuries described as moderate in the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. He was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.

According to the report, Neally was driving a 2003 Kia Spectra south on Highway 5 around 6:30 a.m. May 5 when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment about 0.3 mile north of Keepsake Road. 

The report indicated Neally was not wearing a seatbelt. The Kia was listed as totaled.

The patrol was assisted by the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
