There were no reported injuries in a boating collision Thursday night at the 1.3-mile marker of the Grand Glaize Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol boating incident report.

There were no reported injuries in a boating collision Thursday night at the 1.3-mile marker of the Grand Glaize Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol boating incident report. 

James R. Brunnert, 54, of Jefferson City, was piloting a 1995 Ranger bass boat northbound at approximately 8:30 p.m. on April 20, 2017, when the vessel struck a 2002 Crestliner adrift with no navigation lights displayed being piloted by 37-year-old Justin L. Truskowski of Collinsville, IL. 

According to the report, neither men were listed as wearing safety devices. The Ranger was listed with extensive damage, while the Crestliner was listed with minor damage; both were driven from the scene.
