According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Smith was injured April 17 when the 2002 Polaris Trailblazer ATV he was operating northbound on Old Route 5 at Harvest Road traveled into the path of a 2005 Chevrolet Suburban, and the eastbound SUV struck the ATV around 5:45 p.m.

A Camdenton received minor injuries and was arrested in an ATV vs. SUV collision Monday evening in Camden County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Rodney R. Smith, 37, was injured April 17 when the 2002 Polaris Trailblazer ATV he was operating northbound on Old Route 5 at Harvest Road traveled into the path of a 2005 Chevrolet Suburban, and the eastbound SUV struck the ATV around 5:45 p.m.

Ronny D. Webster, 36, of Camdenton was the driver of the Suburban. He was uninjured. 

Smith was arrested at 7:10 p.m. for driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving resulting in a motor vehicle crash. He was released at Lake Regional Hospital. Smith was taken by ambulance to the Osage Beach facility for treatment.

According to the crash report, Smith was exempt from wearing a safety device and Webster was wearing a seatbelt. 

The ATV was listed as totaled and the Suburban had minor damage.
