A 53-year-old Camdenton man suffered serious injuries and was later arrested for DWI, among other charges, following a one-vehicle crash Saturday night in Camden County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

A 53-year-old Camdenton man suffered serious injuries and was later arrested for DWI, among other charges, following a one-vehicle crash Saturday night in Camden County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. 

Raymond L. Allen was driving a 2006 Yamaha VSTAR 1100 southbound on MO-5, on the off ramp to MO-7, at approximately 10:05 p.m. on April 15, 2017 when the crash occurred. 

According to the report, the vehicle failed to negotiate the exit, struck two road signs and rolled over, ejecting Allen who was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital. 

Allen was arrested and charged with DWI - alcohol, failure to wear approved head gear, no financial responsibility and operating a vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner in an accident. 

Allen was listed as released, according to the arrest report. The vehicle was listed with extensive damage.
