According to Missouri State Highway Patrol spokesperson Sgt. Scott White, the patrol was called out to the incident around the 69 or 70 mile marker around 10:30 p.m. April 13.

One person is confirmed dead in a boating accident in the upper reaches of the Lake of the Ozarks late Thursday night. Details are still sketchy, and it is unclear whether the death was a direct result of the accident or from drowning.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol spokesperson Sgt. Scott White, the patrol was called out to the incident around the 69 or 70 mile marker around 10:30 p.m. April 13. Multiple people were involved in the accident. Others were injured in addition to the person who died. 

The patrol was still on scene this morning recovering the vessel.
