The collision occurred around 4 p.m. April 4 when a 2000 Lincoln Continental and a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire were stopped in traffic in the eastbound lane of Highway 42 at Blue Ridge Road. According to the crash report, a 2004 Jeep Liberty struck the Lincoln from behind pushing the car into the rear of the Pontiac.

A three-vehicle accident on Highway 42 in Miller County Tuesday afternoon resulted in injuries for an Ulman, Mo. woman.

Linda S. Jeffries, 49, received injuries described as moderate in the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. She was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.

Shepherd, 22, of Kaiser were stopped in traffic in the eastbound lane of Highway 42 at Blue Ridge Road. According to the crash report, the 2004 Jeep Liberty driven by Jeffries struck the Lincoln from behind pushing the car into the rear of the Pontiac.

The report indicated all three women were wearing seatbelts. Horseman and Shepherd were not reported as injured.

The Lincoln and Pontiac had minor damage and the Jeep moderate, according to the report.
