A Jefferson City man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 54 Thursday morning in Miller County.
Terry J. McCubbin, 32, was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment following the collision at Highway 54 and Lakeland Road, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
McCubbin was the driver of a 2006 Nissan Sentra westbound on Highway 54 that struck a 2007 Chevrolet Blazer eastbound as it attempted to enter the right lane of the highway from Lakeland Road around 7:30 a.m. Feb. 16, the crash report described. The collision occurred as the Blazer was attempting to cross Highway 54, the report stated.
The driver of the Blazer — Lisa D. Patrick, 51, of Lake Ozark — received minor injuries. She was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital also.
The crash report indicated Patrick was wearing a seatbelt and McCubbin was not.
Both vehicles were listed as totaled.
