According to a press release from the Camden County Sheriff's Department, deputies received the burglary report on Jan. 28 with the occupants of the residence estimating the incident occurred between the first part of December and the middle of January. During the course of the investigation, information was received that some of the stolen property had been placed on Craigslist for sale. 

Two Lake Ozark area men have been arrested in relation to a burglary in the 4700 block of Horseshoe Bend Parkway.

According to a press release from the Camden County Sheriff’s Department, deputies received the burglary report on Jan. 28 with the occupants of the residence estimating the incident occurred between the first part of December and the middle of January.

During the course of the investigation, information was received that some of the stolen property had been placed on Craigslist for sale. Arrangements were made to meet with the seller — identified as Dale Vernon Edwards, 46, of Lake Ozark. 

On Jan. 29, 2017, Dale Edwards was arrested and charged with stealing, probation violation and a domestic assault warrant. Then on Feb. 10, a search warrant was executed at 270 Bittersweet, Four Seasons. At that time, David V. Edwards, 46, was placed under arrest and charged with receiving stolen property.

Over $5,000 in stolen merchandise was recovered.

Dale Edwards has a bond of $1,000 for the stealing charge, $500 for the probation violation and $1,000 for the domestic assault.

David Edwards has a $1,000 bond for his charge.
