A Camdenton man suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash Friday morning on South MO-7 and was later arrested for DWI, among other charges, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

A Camdenton man suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash Friday morning on South MO-7 and was later arrested for DWI, among other charges, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. 

George D. Butler, 45, was driving a 1986 Chevrolet Celebrity northbound on S. MO-7, roughly 250-feet south of Sweat Road, at approximately 10:55 a.m. on Feb. 3, 2017 when the crash occurred. 

According to the report, Butler's vehicle crossed the center line and struck a 1996 Dodge 2500 being driven by 56-year-old Guy T. Arnone, of Montreal, Mo., head-on. 

Butler, listed as not wearing a seat belt, was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital. Arnone, listed as wearing a seat belt, did not have any reported injuries. 

At approximately 1:26 p.m. on the same day, Butler was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated - drugs, no seat belt, and failure to drive on the right side of the roadway resulting in a motor vehicle crash, according to an arrest report. 

The report states Butler was released for medical treatment.
