As we slip into the holiday season at a time when the human race seems at odds with itself, it's important we never forget the blessings — large and small — for which we all should be thankful. They are too numerous to mention, and too many we take for granted, but at the root of it all is our thankfulness for our freedoms. We live in the United States of America.
