This year's sale will be May 19 from 4-7 p.m. and May 20 from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the parking lot of Ozark Chapel Church on Hwy. 5 in Laurie (across from G2M).

Members of Lake Bloomers Garden Club recently had a "potting party” in advance of the annual plant sale May 19-20.

They filled a large variety of containers with annuals, sedum and succulents for their annual plant sale. The proceeds from this sale provide funds for their scholarship program.

Each year scholarships are offered to senior high school students in Morgan and Camden counties who want to major in horticulture related fields. This year's sale will be May 19 from 4-7 p.m. and May 20 from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the parking lot of Ozark Chapel Church on Hwy. 5 in Laurie (across from G2M).

There will be many items for sale including annuals and perennials for sun and shade, natives, container plants, yard art and gently used gardening items. At 11 a.m. there will be a fun seminar on how to make bird houses out of recycled items.
