Take some bamboo, throw in one of the widest varieties of beverages, mix in entrees and appetizers and what do you get? It’s Bambooze, one of the lake’s most popular waterfront bar and grills.
With the restaurant’s extensive list of drinks, owner Matt Willman thought, “Bambooze,” fit the bill.
In its fourth season, Bambooze has become a commonplace name for boaters and inlanders alike. It is often a stop off for popular events including September’s Bikefest and the fall Harbor Hop.
Take it easy on the open air deck, or shoot a game of pool inside the lavish tropical-themed restaurant.
“We are very casual and also family oriented,” Willman said. “Everyone loves to sit at our big deck, which looks out over the Lake. We want everyone to kick back, enjoy each other and have a good time.”
The large tiki bar is perched on the patio, inviting people to unwind and look out over Chimney Point.
Drinks, mouth-watering pizza and delectable wings are just a few of the reasons people make a stop by the west side restaurant.
Head chef and restaurant manager Chad Hadfield makes sure there is plenty to chose from on the menu. There are eight different flavors of wings from sweet to Jamaican Jerk, a number of wraps, sandwiches, salads and new selection of breakfast items served every Saturday and Sunday.
Drinks: In high demand are the Apple Mojitos. Also try the Bamboozler, the Cran-Apple Cooler or order one of the more than 15 different types of imported and American beers.
Food: Monday is 50-cent Taco night. The pizzas are popular with a spicy cajun chicken or stick to the original loaded with four cheeses.
