A recall election sparked by nearly 1,500 signatures won’t go to voters after all.
The fire board is back down to two members after treasurer Jim Schneider turned in a letter of resignation effective July 4.
The Osage Beach Fire Protection District sent out notice early Monday morning.
Schneider declined to make a comment. No other details were immediately available.
