Welcome to the new Lake Media regional news website! Instead of separate web pages for each of our publications, we are combining the best information from each into one website, with a few enhancements.
Here not only will you find up-to-date news from around the Lake of the Ozarks, but you can check out the local team's winning score, discover where the latest hot spot is or even express yourself through our opinions or forums pages.
We've kept some of our old, and favorite, features including allowing users to comment on the stories that mean the most to them. Photo galleries will also stick around only now they will be expanded to every area of the lake - from the north shore to the west side and everything in between. You'll see what's going on in pictures.
At the top of our new favorite features is a forums section - Lake Chatter. Here you can communicate back and forth with other Lake Media readers about everything from the local news to upcoming events. Lake Chatter is an open forum. Users can start their own threads about topics that interest them most or respond to the ones we'll be posting.
Got a great public event you're planning? Add it to our new online calendar. Simply fill out the required boxes and click submit. Once your event is approved by the administrator, it will appear in the online calendar for others to discover. Not sure what to do this weekend? The calendar can be browsed through by different categories, location on the lake or even venue.
If all this isn't enough, check us out on Facebook. Click on the link or search for Lake News Online and become our fan. Throughout the day we'll be posting updates on stories or projects we're working on.
And, as always, we will continue to bring you great printed products through the Lake's only daily newspaper, the Lake Sun; three weekly newspapers, the WestSide Star, FOCUS and Weekly Standard; the Lake's only vacation guide, Vacation News; and celebrating its 10th anniversary, Lake Lifestlyes Magazine.
We strive to bring you the best in everything we do because we live and work in the communities we serve.

If all this still isn't enough, or you have questions, concerns – or even a complaint! – don't hesitate to contact us!
