About 45 participants ranging in age from high school to the 80's make up this orchestra and come from many communities surrounding the Lake of the Ozarks area.

The Lake Area Community Orchestra begins its series of winter concerts with performances in Camdenton and Eldon.

Community Christian Church, North Business Route 5, Camdenton, will host a concert on Sunday, November 26, at 7 p.m. The First Baptist Church in Eldon hosts a concert on Tuesday, November 28. This concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Residents and visitors of the area are cordially invited to attend these free concerts.

Many may really enjoy a rather interesting arrangements of “Celebration” by the Mannheim Steamrollers, as well as a variety of Christmas and other selections, including “A Fireside Christmas,” “A Holst Christmas,” “Adventum,” “Gershwin Prelude Suite,” “A Crazy Mixed-up Christmas,” and a Mozart symphony.

There is music for everyone to enjoy!
