Proceeds from the sale of this artwork help fund community arts programs and events at Lake of the Ozarks, like the Missoula Children’s Theatre and the Student Art Quest.

Last year, the Lake Arts Council asked the public to donate previously-owned art for resale, and the response was huge! Many of the pieces have been sold, but nearly 120 remain, artfully displayed on the walls of the office.

They have been catalogued and priced by professional artists. Those prices were reduced by 50 percent, and now they’re being reduced by half again. Current prices range from $5 to $350.

The inventory is diverse, with many different textures, colors, styles, themes, and sizes to choose from. All pieces are framed, and, in some cases, the frame alone is worth more than the sale price. Proceeds from the sale of this artwork help fund community arts programs and events at Lake of the Ozarks, like the Missoula Children’s Theatre and the Student Art Quest.

Liven up your condo or starter home walls, or discover fresh inspiration for that spare room you’re redecorating, and help enrich the community through the arts at the same time. Whatever your art needs or interest, please, mark your calendar for October 21 and come take a look.

The Lake Arts Council office is located at the Stone Crest Mall, at 3797 Osage Beach Parkway, Osage Beach. Enter the first door on the south end under the Luxury Nails sign, turn left, and you will see the LAC sign above the door.

The sale hours are from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Oct. 21, but the public is welcome to stop in to view or purchase a piece from the collection anytime the office is open: Monday-Friday, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Cash, check, or credit cards are accepted.
