For the third year in a row, Hannibal will play host to visitors celebrating diversity in the community. Diversity Days is scheduled to run from Sept. 15 through Sept. 17 at various downtown venues.

Organizers invite everyone to attend a weekend of special events.

A Friday night gathering is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 15 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main St.

The main events Saturday include the Illusions of Grandeur show, scheduled for 3 p.m. at Finn's Food and Spirits and a Drag, Disco, and Dance party at 9 p.m., also at Finn's. The cost at the door for these events are $15 and $10 respectively.

A $25 Diversity Days ticket package includes a pass to the Friday night party, access to the Hospitality Room at Finn's on Sept. 16, live by by Frate at noon on Sept. 16 at Finn's, show tunes at Finn's from 3 to 5 p.m. Sept. 16, karaoke with DJ Sly from 6 to 8 p.m. At Finn's, a bloody Mary and mimosa bar at La Azotea Lounge at 10 a.m. Sept. 17, and live music by HartLyss from noon to 3 p.m., also at La Azotea.

Visitors are also encouraged to tour some of Hannibal’s most popular sites, including the Mark Twain Museum, Hannibal History Museum, Rockcliffe Mansion, Molly Brown Museum, Jim's Journey and more.
