Golf tournaments spring up across lake area

Looking for a golf tournament? There are several being held at courses across the Lake area. Here is a look at where you might want to sign up.

Project Graduation Tournament
The second annual Camdenton Project Graduation Golf Tournament will be held April 10 at The Hidden Lakes Golf Course at Tan-Tar-A. Registration begins at noon with a 1 p.m. shotgun. Prizes will be awarded at 6 p.m. Cost is $200 per team. The four person scramble. Contact Paul at 573-348-8535 or e-mail leahy@pga.com for more information.

Clown Classic Golf Tournament
The 27th Annual Kelly's Clown Classic Golf Tournament, a fundraiser for the Dream Factory, will take place at Osage National Golf Course in Lake Ozark May 1. A long drive event, auction and reception will be held at Osage National April 30. The tournament will start with an 8 a.m. breakfast and a 10 a.m. tee-off on May 1.

The form is three-person teams. Build your own teams or one will be provided for you. Entry for one person is $150 and includes pairings party, golf and lunch. The long drive event costs $40 a player. You can enter as many times as you would like. Application deadline is April 19. There is a limit of 144 entries. Rotary Club Tournament
The 27th annual Lake Ozark Rotary Club golf tournament will be held May 6 at The Oaks Golf Course at Tan-Tar-A. Registration will be at noon with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. A box lunch will be served. Purchase a $10 wrist band for unlimited on-course refreshments. Prizes will be determined based on the number of teams.

A cocktail party, dinner and silent auction will be held at The Oaks clubhouse about 6 p.m. Cost is $100 per golfer and includes green fees, the lunch and a seat at the dinner. One-person scramble
The Eldon Golf Club is hosting a one-person scramble on May 7 and 8. Cost is $85 per person. Private carts are welcome. Skins and mulligans will be available for purchase. Starts Saturday at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m. Four flights based on 54 players will be held. Entry fees must be received by May 6. 3 person, 3 course scramble
A three course, three person scramble will be held at the Dogwood Hills Golf Club, The Oaks Golf Club, Sycamore Creek Golf Club on May 10. Enjoy 27 holes of continuous play in the same golf cart at three different courses. Cost is $80 per golfer. Shotgun start at noon. Contact 573-348-1725 for more information.

HK's Hospital Tournament
The 33rd Annual HK's Hospital Golf Tournament will be at the Lodge of the Four Seasons in Lake Ozark June 3-5. The VIP/Celebrity Party will be at the Lodge of Four Seasons at 6:30 p.m. Friday. The pairing party and silent auction will be at 5 p.m. Saturday. The golf tournament will be on the Cove Golf Course on Sunday. Call 573-348-8265 for registration information.

Father's Day Scramble
There will be a Father's Day Golf Scramble at the Eldon Country Club beginning at 7 a.m. June 18 and 19. This will be a three person scramble. For more information, call 573-392-4172.
