Headliner this year will be Tony Booth, a traditional country music singer/songwriter who, with his band, became the house band at the famous Palomino Club in California.

The entertainment lineup is all set to perform at the fifth annual Genuine Country Music Association Classic Country Jamboree October 22 at 2 p.m.. at Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach. Doors to the silent auction will open at 1 p.m.

The event will raise scholarship funds for students attending State Fair Community College-Lake of the Ozarks and will also benefit the Lake of the Ozarks Soccer Association.

Traditional country music lovers will again have a chance tao listen and dance to their favorite music.

Tony’s hits include "Keys in the Mailbox," "Lonesome 7-7203," "Cinderella" and "Workin’ @ the Carwash Blues," just to name a few.

New this year will be Jerry Frank, a Lake of the Ozarks local who blows the cobs out of the saxophone! There will be a dance floor and concessions will be available. A silent auction is planned along with a special live auction for a “Boots ‘n BBQ” evening with the Board of Directors Band.

Tickets are $15 for GCMA members, $20 for nonmembers and free for children under age 12. Tickets are available at John Farrell Real Estate Company (5750 Osage Beach Parkway) and SFCC-Lake of the Ozarks (3797 Osage Beach Parkway) Osage Beach locations, and the SFCC Foundation (3201 W. 16th St.) in Sedalia.

Seating is limited. A 10-person table can be reserved ahead of time for $100 to guarantee a preferred table location.

The Genuine Country Music Association, a 501c3 organization, was founded in 2009 to promote, perform and maintain traditional country music.
