Every once in a while, one is fortunate enough to stumble across one of those unique places that he or she will never forget; one of those places that seems to take people to a different world entirely, leaving them feeling like little kids again. Owner Gary Dyer purchased The Cave Restaurant and Resort last year and has been offering customers an experience with their meal.
Take advantage of the natural habitat and plant native wildflowers. Summer is a good time to do it and with a short drive to the nursery, everything you need is within reach.
If you're not the fishing type or you're just in the mood for a different kind of fish than what you can get in the lake, consider a trip into the interior of the Gravois Mills area for some fresh rainbow trout.
