On Wednesday, June 17, Lake Regional Pharmacy and Lake Ozark Clinic, located at 1870 Bagnell Dam Blvd. in Lake Ozark, Mo., will host a Wellness Wednesday for area residents.
Lake Regional Pharmacy will offer free blood pressure and blood glucose checks from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The pharmacist will explain the readings and review the recommended guidelines for participants.
Participants will receive log books to track blood pressure and blood sugar levels and may register to win a diabetes care pack, including cook books, and a blood pressure care pack, including a digital monitor. Lake Regional Diabetes Educator Tara Randle, M.S., R.D., L.D., CDE, will present “Healthy Summer Snacking Advice” at Lake Regional Clinic from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Participants can enjoy healthy summer snack samples and pick up free recipes.
