Gov. Matt Blunt announced appointments of members
who will serve on several boards, commissions and
councils.
WHAT: Advisory Commission for Physical Therapists
WHO: Dawn M. Standley, 42 of Osage Beach, is the
owner of American Physical Therapy, LLC. She holds a
bachelor’s degree in science-biology from the University
of Tennessee, and a master’s degree in physical
therapy from U.S.-Army-Baylor University. Mrs.
Standley’s reappointment is for a term ending October
1, 2011.
WHAT: Missouri Assistive Technology Advisory Council
WHO: Jessica L. Herring, of Ulman, is a supervisor in
effective practices in the Division of Special Education
at the Missouri Department of Elementary and
Secondary Education. Mrs. Herring holds a bachelor’s
degree in home economics and a master’s of education
in Curriculum and Instruction/Educational Technology
from the University of Missouri – Columbia. Her
reappointment is for a term ending August 28, 2011.
WHAT: State Lottery Commission
WHO: Bob R. Gattermeir (R), 63 of Olean, is the
owner of Gattermeir and Company, Inc. Realtors. Mr.
Gattermeir holds a bachelor’s degree from Westminster
College. His appointment is subject to Senate
confirmation for a term ending on Sept. 7, 2010.
