The Lake Area Community Orchestra continues to rehearse each Tuesday in preparation for its Summer Concert Series.
These will begin on Tuesday, June 1, with a schedule to be announced shortly.
The orchestra has elected officers for the year, including Leonard Vader, Jefferson City, president; Mary Roderick, Roach, vice-president; Carrol Rinker, Sunrise Beach, secretary; Mary Hoelscher, Holts Summit, treasurer; and Eugene Moll, Russellville, publicity.
