Although rumors are circulating that Camden County has seen its first H1N1 flu death, Bee Dampier, the Health Department’s communicable diseases nurse, said nothing had been confirmed as of 4 p.m. Thursday.
Dampier said she also heard the rumors, but Lake Regional has yet to report any deaths related to the H1N1 or seasonal flu, and she does not know of any cases that are under investigation.
Morgan County Health Department officials also reported that there were no deaths caused by H1N1 and none that are under investigation.
