The cause of a fire at the Country Club Hotel and Spa on Tuesday is still undetermined, according to Lake Ozark fire officials.
Firefighters with the Lake Ozark Fire Protection District arrived at the scene of the storage building on Carol Road around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
When they got there, smoke and flames were already showing through the roof. Inside, a Porsche Boxster was burning.
Crews were able to bring the fire under control in less than 30 minutes. Units remained on scene for another hour.
The vehicle was a complete loss and there was extensive heat and smoke damage to the rest of the building, according to a news release issued by the fire protection district.
The cause of the fire is undetermined.
Lake Ozark was assisted by fire crews from Osage Beach, Eldon and Sunrise Beach.
