Boo the villain in ‘Little Nell’
The Family Theatre Production of "Little Nell, The Orphan Girl or Fight for a Woman's Honor" will be presented at the Sunrise Beach Community Center on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, March 4-6, at 7 p.m. Seating will be around tables with plenty of popcorn for booing of the dastardly villain. Reservations are not needed. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $7.50 adults and $3 children 12 and under.

Eat out: Chili cookoff benefits
The 2nd annual CADV Chili Cookoff will be Saturday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at Tan-Tar-A Resort. Admission is $5 per ticket. Chili sampling, chili dogs, music, cash bar, door prizes, cake walk/face painting. Grand prize is $500. 346-9630.
VFW 3600 Auxiliary will host a chili dinner March 07 from noon-2 p.m. at north 7 in Climax Springs, Mo. Adult $6 and children 10-and-under $3.
Osage River Bar and Grill will host the Chili-Wing Cookoff to benefit Share the Harvest Food Pantry. Money raised will be proportionately matched by the Alan Feinstein Foundation. 374-3020
