Gull-Ables Bar & Grill • 91 E US Highway 54, Camdenton • (573) 346-4994

If you're looking for shuffleboards, homemade food and a place to kick back a few beers and share war stories, just turn at the hot pink building in Camdenton.

Walking through the door, Gull-Ables immediately has that "Cheers" feel to it, with its hometown atmosphere and the same people frequenting the bar every day.

Pam Hagenow has owned the restaurant for the last three years and said both the food and people make it unique.

She cooks and serves dishes like homemade onion rings and hand-breaded tenderloins, which she said people from all over keep coming back for.

In addition to food, drinks and company, over the shuffleboard table is the Veteran's Wall, where pictures of local vets hang. A few of those guys can be found hanging out in the bar too.

Above the bar are photographs of active duty service men and women that Hagenow said they send care packages to while overseas.

So when in Camdenton, just look for the pink concrete and the sign that says "I love this bar" and get ready for some local flavor.
