Lake Ozark Mayor Johnnie Franzeskos has been served with an impeachment notice.
During the board of aldermen meeting Tuesday night, Alderman Susan Drummond charged Franzeskos with willfully releasing confidential information discussed during executive session.
She asked that a special meeting be called at 6 p.m. Jan. 25 to allow Franzeskos the opportunity to respond to the charges.
Drummond’s motion to hold an impeachment hearing was approved 3-1. Two aldermen were not present.
Drummond, Robert Davis and Jeff Van Donsel all voted in favor. Alderman Judy Neels voted against.
