Two Missouri men were killed when the tractor-trailer rig they were in crashed on Interstate 40 near Elk City in western Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 26-year-old Robin Wayne Smith of Camdenton and 38-year-old Cole Preston Winebrinner of Brookwine died in the crash early Sunday.
Troopers say the rig driven by Smith was westbound when it went into the median and hit a guard rail and bridge rail before going off the bridge and falling 40 feet. The rig landed on its roof — killing both men.
