School of the Osage welcomed Boonville to the pitch Thursday night and the Indians poured on four goals in the second half on their way to a 5-0 shutout over the Pirates.

It was just a 1-0 game at the break after a goal by Layton Jennings. Then, Jennings added another goal while Garrett Long found his groove for his third hat trick of the season to create the final margin. Meanwhile, keeper Parker Jett and the Osage defense created the fifth clean sheet of the year.

"The game gave us the chance to sit some of the starters and give a few players some varsity time," Osage coach Jason Long said. "Freshmen Chris Boyd and Veton Abazi earned minutes along with a first time player in Aaron Evans."

Osage (6-5-1) is scheduled to take on the Laker Shootout over the weekend and will host Iberia on Monday at 5 p.m.
