  • The largest family cruise-in in Missouri packs the Bagnell Dam Strip on select Friday nights during the summer. The final event this year is Sept. 5.
    Free for participants and spectators, Hot Summer Nights draws thousands to the Lake area each year, and each night there is a different theme.
    All makes and models of cars, trucks and motorcycles are welcome. In addition to the cruise-in, giveaways, food, music, shopping, helicopter rides, clowns, face painting and other activities will be held along the Bagnell Dam Strip.
    The event is from 6-11 p.m. rain or shine. A fireworks display will be shot off at 9:45 p.m. near the Dam.
    The final evening of the year’s theme is "Vettes for Veterans." 
    The Lake of the Ozarks Corvette Club will be parading veterans down Bagnell Dam Blvd. for a tribute and thousands of American flags will be handed out to people on the Strip.
