The Osage Indian softball team got its second win of the season in its first true road game of the year at Tuscumbia on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 16-4.

Osage pounded out 20 hits in the game. Among the leaders were Austin Dulle, junior Taylor Good, junior Charity Nelson and junior Dani Puckett who all recorded three hits each. One of Good’s hit was her second home run of the season.

Good went the distance in the circle, scattering four hits. She struck out seven and issued three walks.

“[Tonight was] a much better night than the Eldon game. Our bats came alive. We are off for a few days and then get ready for Warsaw on the road,” Indian head coach Bill Nowicki said.

Osage is now 2-3 and will play again at Warsaw on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
