  • For 17 adults, a dream will come true on Saturday night. The St. Anthony Catholic Church choir will be joining Foreigner on stage.

Most of the choir members have been listening to Foreigner for years. Never did they ever imagine they would be joining the iconic band for one song.

"It is exciting," Choir Director Barb Rogers said. "It is kind of unbelievable."

Rogers was contacted by the band's promoter. When on tour, the band reaches out to local church and school choirs to help them raise funds for the Grammy Foundation and in return make a donation to the choir.

During the night of the concert, choir members will be taking donations for the foundation, helping with a raffle and selling the band's c.d.'s.

They will be sining "I want to know what love is."

"It's awesome especially because we listen to them on the radio," Rogers added.

Rogers has been directing the choir for eight years and sees the chance for the choir to sing with Foreigner as an honor.
