The Camdenton Laker boys’ soccer team suffered its first defeat of the season on Tuesday, Aug. 26, at home against West Plains 1-0.

“We played a very hard fought game. We controlled possession and all the statistics, just couldn’t capitalize on our chances. We had 15 shots to their one, but their one scored and none of our 15 did,” Camdenton head coach Jason Ingold said.

Sophomore Adam Davies occupied the net for Camdenton and had one save.

The Lakers are now 1-1 and will play another home match against Helias Catholic on Thursday, Aug. 28.
