According to arresting officer, Larry Bowling, Halderman was parked in a white Dodge Ram pickup truck in the north parking lot of the Eldon Middle School. Bowling noted in the official report that the subject did not have a shirt on.
As the officer continued to keep an eye on the male subject, he noticed him get out of the pick up, drop his jean shorts and urinate in the parking lot which was in full view of the school, buses and parking lots according to the police report.
Bowling immediately pulled up close to the subject and yelled at him to stop and to pull up his pants. Halderman ignored the officer and got back into his truck. The officer then directed the subject to exit the truck with his hands up. After Haldermen ignored him again, Bowling drew his weapon, pointed it at him and ordered him to exit the truck. After repeating orders to get out of the vehicle, Halderman finally obliged.
