  • The Lake Arts Council is proud to sponsor the Swampweed Cajun Band concert on Saturday, August 23 at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held at Shawnee Bluff Winery.
    Prior to the music, there will be a Crawfish Boil at 5 p.m. Tickets for the boil are $20 per person and may be purchased at the Winery. Tickets to see Swampweed Cajun band are $15 per person or $25 for two people and may be purchased at the Lake Arts Council office or on www.eventbrite.com.
    Swampweed, a Cajun Dancehall Band, plays traditional, foot-stompin’, accordion squeezed, French howlin’ music from the swamps. This band, comprised of five multi-talented musicians is sure to put on an entertaining show!
    Shawnee Bluff Winery is the host site for the 2014 Summer Sounds Concert Series put on by The Lake Arts Council. It is located at 2430 Bagnell Dam Blvd. in Lake Ozark. It features daily wine tastings, a lake-side pool, and one of the best views of the Lake of the Ozarks.
