  • Two Rolla men in jail after stolen vehicle recovered in Osage Beach

  • A stolen vehicle from St. James has been recovered in Osage Beach.
    On July 30 at approximately 11:45 p.m., Osage Beach Police officers responded to the Walmart SuperCenter in Osage Beach, in reference to a reported suspicious activity involving two white males looking into parked vehicles.
    Upon the officer’s arrival, they found the suspect males standing next to a green 2003 Chevy Trailblazer. One of the suspects claimed to own the vehicle. The officer checked the registration and was advised that the vehicle was listed as stolen from the St. James area.
    Both subjects, Ryan Lumsden and Garrett Green, ages 25, from Rolla, Mo., were taken into custody for tampering with a motor vehicle and transported to the Camden County Jail to await formal charges. Both were charged with tampering with a motor vehicle first Degree and await additional charges from the St. James Police Department.
    Both of their bonds were set at $7,500 cash or $25,000 surety.
