The 6th annual Great Bagnell Dam Duck Drop will be held in Lake Ozark August 1-2. A golf tournament will be at The Cove at the Lodge of Four Seasons on Friday and the Duck Drop is Saturday below Bagnell Dam in Lake Ozark.

Thousands of ducks are dropped into the Osage River on a race to cross the finish line. Purchase tickets for $5 and if your number matches the first duck to cross, you will take home $5,000. There will be many other cash prizes and gift certificates.

A 5K will be held Saturday morning with registration at 7 a.m. Early bird registration is $20 (guaranteed a T-shirt), or $25 on the day of the race. The route will start and end at the Dam Bait Shop and Campground below Bagnell Dam.

Golf Tournament at The Cove Golf Course

7 a.m. Registration begins with a breakfast and putting contest

8:15 a.m. Lake Ozark Helicopter arrival, Sky Divers arrive, National Anthem, recognition of presenting sponsor and other sponsors

8:30 a.m. Tournament begins (four-person scramble) 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

2:30 p.m. Awards ceremony at Savannah Grille with presenting sponsor and other sponsors recognition

4 p.m. Event ends

Cost per player is $125 or $500 per team. Each player will receive 10 Duck Drop tickets, a goodie bag, breakfast on the course, chances to win course prizes and a wristband to attend the awards ceremony at Savannah Grille.
