Get down home by visiting one of the annual fair's home economic exhibits, livestock shows or grandstand events.
Exhibits by local and regional residents and 4-H students will be on display with categories that include sewing and quilting, cooking, baking and crafts as well as vegetables, floraculture, woodworking, scrapbooking, cured meats and metal work. There will also be exhibits of professional and amateur photography.
Friday and Saturday will see shows of goats, swing, sheep and calves as well as rabbits and poultry.
During the evenings this weekend the grandstand will be the place to be.
On Friday night, the MMTTPA Truck and Tractor Pull will be the main event. Cost to attend for adults is $10 with children 10 and under admitted free of charge.
Then on Saturday night, a Figure-8 Scramble and Powder Puff Derby will be held with an entrance fee of $7 for adults and again free for children under the age of 10.
Though there will be no carnival this year, bounce houses will be open for kids as well as vendor booths with food and more.
