  • The Missouri Department of Economic Development will be hosting an application workshop on Aug. 19 for nonprofit organizations interested in applying for the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP).
The NAP application workshop will take place from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. in the Harry S. Truman Bldg., Room 850, 301 W. High Street, Jefferson City. The workshop is free and open to the public, but space is limited, so registration is required.
Administered by DED, the Neighborhood Assistance Program is designed to provide assistance to community-based organizations that enables them to implement community or neighborhood projects in the areas of community service, education, crime prevention, job training and physical revitalization. Eligible applicants include not-for-profit corporations organized under Chapter 355, RSMo, organizations holding a 501(c)(3) ruling from the IRS, and Missouri businesses.
DED is currently accepting applications for Round 2 of the FY2015 NAP cycle. Applications must be postmarked by Oct. 1, 2014.
