  • Area businesses interested in quality and process improvements are encouraged to attend the next meeting of the Lake of the Ozarks Baldrige Community of Excellence organization, scheduled at 7:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8.
The meeting, hosted by Lake Regional Health System, will include a presentation from Baldrige winner K&N Management. Located in Austin, Texas, K&N Management is just the second restaurant group to be recognized as a National Quality Award recipient. The presentation is titled “Customer Focus: How Strong Internal Cultures Drive Customer Loyalty.”
The Lake of the Ozarks BCOE was formed to provide opportunities for lake-area businesses and individuals interested in following the Malcolm Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. Baldridge-based awards in Missouri include the Missouri Quality Award, Vision for Performance Excellence Program and Excellence in the Heartland. Lake Regional is a three-time recipient of the Missouri Quality Award.
BCOE meetings offer networking opportunities, and are designed to facilitate learning from other members. They feature speakers from the Excellence in Missouri Foundation, as well as Missouri Quality Award and Baldrige National Quality Award winners.
For more information about joining BCOE or to register for the meetings, contact Karen Perry at Lake Regional Health System at kperry@lakeregional.com, or call 573-348-8741.
